okay okay so i know theres already a cake pops recipe up there, but what if you suddenly decide to have friends over? and like totally dont have 3 days to make the most delicious cake pops ever? just whip up a quick batch of these yummies, and you’ll be good to go. in fact, this is actually pretty dang kid friendly since there’s no eggs, or bacteria-attracting foods in this. and plus, nothing to burn yourselves on. just beat, ball, and fridge.
it tastes like a mix between cake batter, and cookie batter, like 2 of the most delicious things in the world…. EVER… who wouldnt want to try something like this? isnt it a bit…oxymoronic to call it cake batter cake pops? well hell… it is… but yenno? once you taste it, then you’ll see why its called that.

What you need:
- 1 c. either white or yellow cake mix
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. butter room temp.
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 3-4 tbs milk
- chocolate or vanilla almond bark or any kind of candy melts
Sift together the cake mix, flour, and set aside. then cream together the butter and sugar until its nice and fluffy. and then toss in the flour/cake mix, and salt. beat until mixed thoroughly. Gradually add in the milk, until it has the consistency of cake pops, which you can find a description here. it should be kinda doughy, and workable. form into balls, and then toss in the fridge for half an hour, or in the freezer for 15 minutes. tada! quick whip, no bake cake pops. coat in almond bark/candy melts if you oh so desire, and then add a sprinkle of sprinkles for the full cake-y effect 😄
