Fudgey Brownie Cookies

okay so thanksgiving is over, and so is the love of my life (yes you nutters BAND, not my nonexistent boyfriend….unless you count the one that was just for shits and giggles *coughcough*) which means now ill have more time to post more regularly, instead of these stupidly idiotic and spread out recipes every freaking now and then (: i am SO sad that band season is over (i’m that much of band nerd, fools. get it right)  but it just means now more time for baking and blogging :0

they are so freaking yummy. like i swear, nothing will EVER compare to these for the next gawd-knows-how-long. underbake them a little and they’ll get a nice warm and gooey center….kinda like a freaking molten lava cake…but in cookie form…oh sweet mama jesus… foodgasm RIGHT THERE. or just bake it a little longer and get a yummy chewy cookie…..once you bake them, and like take them out of your oven….and let them sit….. oh baby jesus they go great with a glass of cold milk :3 excuse me will i clean up this mess of drool that i have made while thinking of these delicious honeybunnies

okay sorry about that.

what you need:

  • 1 box of fudge brownie mix (i love me them betty crocker ones..and yeah the boxes…not the bags)
  • 1 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. butter, melted/cooled
  • 2-3 tbs cold water

simple right?

okay so youre NOT going to preheat your oven first. but you are going to take your dry ingredients and give it a quick whisk together. then crack in one egg at a time, making sure it gets pretty dang mixed up in there. then toss in your butter, and then 2 tbs of water. give it a quick stir, and if it looks like that there is too much flour, then add in another tablespoon of water. its going to be really…..really thick. so be prepared for a good workout

once you get that all nice and mixed, cover it in plastic wrap, then chill for 2 hours in the refrigerator.

nooow you can preheat your oven to 350°F

take your chilled cookie dough and i say get about…ehhhhhhhh a tablespoon of dough and roll it into a perfect ball, and when you put it on your pan, press down a little so then you get a slight squished ball. this will help create perfectly round cookies. which make them that much yummier

now chuck em in the oven for about 8-10 minutes and depending on how you want them cookies, then you might want to experiment a little on the timing…. i usuall go about 9 minutes for good chewy cookies…yum… let them cool for a little before you remove them from the pan ad now baddabing baddaboom you has yourself some delicious fudgey brownie cookies :)))
