Apple Pecan Sticky Buns

sticky buns…..cinnamon rolls….apples….all combined together are like really really yummy in my tummy :O dude i remember when i was a kid, i’d used to eat cinnamon rolls everyday for breakfast (way back when i had time before rushing out the door for school) and i’d ask my mom for some every time we passed a Cinnabon at the mall. jesus christ i had an obsession with cinnamon rolls…and now here they are with a twist. apples and pecans. the two best frieds of cinnamon….besides sugar… whatever…. yes its one hell of a pack of calories to intake but its definitely worth it…. ive been imgfaving a lot and theres like memes about how men think that a womans dream is to be able to eat anything she wants and not gain weight from it….well thats definitely true in my case…. because i LOOOOOOVE to eat…if you havent noticed since oh hey i have a food blog? and i eat like pretty much everything in dang sight….. well….. dude… food… im hungry now…. im gonna go make some food….OH WAIT IM AT SCHOOL….WHERE THERE IS NO GOOD FOOD…..LAAAAAME….

 what you need:

1 1/4 c. warm milk

4 c. flour

1 envelope dry yeast

3 tbs melted butter

2 tsp vanilla extract

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 c. sugar

2 eggs

filling

1 c. brown sugar, packed

1/2 c. soft butter

2 tsp cinnamon

2 apples, peeled, cored, and chopped

1 c. pecans, chopped

topping

1/2 c. melted butter

1 c. brown sugar

mix together the yeast, salt, sugar, and half of the flour. then beat in the liquid ingredients. one that is a nice batter-y dough-like thing….. slowly mix in the rest of your flour, 1/4 c. at a time, until the dough forms a soft ball that peels away from the sides of the bowl…. that sounds so weird aahahaha

knead for another 5 minutes and then place in a greased bowl and cover with a damp rag for an hour or until volume is doubled. punch down, knead for 30 seconds, and then let rest for 10 minutes. roll out until the size of a baking pan.

preheat your oven to 350° and then grease a 9×13 in pan

mix together the butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon for the filling and then spread onto the dough. sprinkle on the pecans and apples.  roll into a tight log , making sure that the filling does spill out. Using a ridiculously sharp knife, or dental floss, cut into 16 equal pieces. mix together the topping and spread evenly into the bottom of your greased pan….yes this right. no i didnt make an error…remember when you flip it out of the pan, then the bottom will become the top. or if you want to leave it in the pan for serving then put it on the top. cover and let rest for another 20 minutes. then remove the cover and let bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and yummy. let it cool for 5 minutes before inverting it onto your serving plate 😀 tadaaa
